Schulen am See, Hard/Vorarlberg (A)

The Building includes primary school, secondary school and two sports halls. 9 Modules (clusters) each with three classes are designed in a flexible way that they can be used by the primary or secondary level class. In a whole-day school, a high quality of living in the interior is important. The teaching rooms should motivate to active learning. The facade is developed for low energy demand, avoiding summer overheating and highly daylight quality in the classrooms. The project has a very high energetic and ecological quality because of the early optimization process in preliminary planning.
