Nebelhorn Gipfelrestaurant (D) Restaurant

The restaurant at 2244 meter above sea level is located next to the top station of the cable car. Due to the extreme outdoor climate in the winter, the building envelope was designed to be highly thermally insulated. The panoramic 3-pane glazing was designed as color-neutral coated sun-proof glazing. The building is heated by an floor heating system. The mechanical ventilation system has efficient double heat recovery with an 80% heat recovery.
