The offices as well as the training rooms are heated and cooled via TABS (thermo active concrete ceiling). In building area 8, the CO2-controlled ventilation wings in the facade are ventilating hygienic and naturally during summer at moderate outdoor temperatures. In construction site 11, ventilation is provided with a mechanical ventilation system with heat and moisture recovery. The energy supply heating is ensured by decentralized air/water heat pumps (reversible) in combination with gas condensing boilers for peak load coverage. The cold supply is provided by dry and adiabatic (sprayed) recoolers/chillers at moderate summer temperatures, which is supplied with rainwater/roof water. At high outside temperatures, we switch to cold compression mode.
