In this building, the Vorarlberger Illwerke AG is integrating the organizational units of energy production, engineering services, energy management, infrastructure services and administration. The rooms are heated by floor heating system and cooled with a ceiling sail system. The building is equipped with mechanical ventilation with a heat recovery of 75 %. Heat is supplied by heat pumps. The lake in front of the building is the heat source. Cooling energy is produced with reversible heat pumps. The building envelope is highly insulated. The three-pane glazing is externally shaded. The building is ÖGNI/DGNB certified.
