The high-rise tower contains apartments and office space. The compact building volume results in a high energy density. The high-quality thermal building envelope and a wind-stable rod profile shading system ensure high comfort for the users. The apartments receive floor heating and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery. The offices and training rooms are heated and cooled with TABS (thermal active concrete ceilings) and are equipped with a mechanical ventilation system with adiabatic exhaust air cooling. The energy supply is provided by the district heating/cooling of the EWZ/Elektrizitätswerk Zürich.
